Gallardo - Director and Owner
Working mostly as a choreographer
for various projects in the entertainment industry, I managed to lift
my dancers to higher and higher heights
literally. As my tech-
rehearsals became more and more complex, my technical director kindly
pointed out to me that I was turning his theatre into a circus
Imagination
Circus Arts is the culmination
of 19 years experience as a performer, teacher, consultant, and guest
lecturer in the performing arts. I am currently the owner and director
of Imagination Circus Arts. I spent 12 years working at the Sports
and Arts center at Island Lake in Pennsylvania, where I acted as
the program director for their acclaimed circus arts department, as well
as the artistic coordinator for the circus, theatre and dance departments
combined. I have worked in the US and England as a certified teacher of
the performing arts since 1992, and have since choreographed over 200
musicals, halftime shows, circus acts and competitive routines. I began
coaching circus arts here in Colorado in 1999, and have spent the last
11 years performing and creating theatrical circus shows for private and
corporate events.
